Likay star-turned-singer Chaiya Mitchai is set to delight fans with his return to the folk theatre stage.

Chaiya is to face leading likay (folk theatre) performers Toon Thai Bangrajan, Nat Chai Anan, Phapoom Malainak, Jantra Malaithip and Kaewfa Suansri in a performance set for Friday and Saturday, from noon to 6pm, at Park Paragon, Siam Paragon. The star has been rehearsing hard for the performance, which boasts advanced multi-media.

The performance will be based on four traditional folktales: Kong Khao Noi, Khun Chang Khun Paen, Sang Thong and Phra Aphai Manee.

Organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the two-day show is free.
