- soap opera (n.): a television or radio story about the daily lives of the same

- sitcom (n.): It is a word which is made of two words “situation” and “comedy” blended together. A play or movie, etc. that is intended to entertain people and makes them laugh with a set situation (ภาพยนตร์หรือละครเบาสมองที่ออกอากาศเป็นตอน ๆ มีตัวละครชุดเดียวกันและต้องเผชิญกับสถานการณ์ที่แตกต่างกันในแต่ละตอน คำเต็มคือ situation comedy)
- horror film (n.): horror movie; a film in which strange and frightening things

- thriller (n.): a film or a book that tells an exciting story about murder or

- detective film (n.): a film about crime, often a murder, and a detective who tries to find out who did it (ภาพยนตร์แนวสืบสวนสอบสวน)

- แฟรงค์ ลอยด์ ไรท์ (Frank Lloyd Wright) (ค.ศ. 1869 – 1959) เป็นสถาปนิกชื่อดังชาวอเมริกัน มีชื่อเสียงระดับโลกด้านการออกแบบที่ผสมผสานระหว่างงานศิลปะและสถาปัตยกรรมจากประเทศต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ อังกฤษ ออสเตรียและญี่ปุ่นอย่างลงตัว เป็นสิ่งแปลกใหม่และอมตะจนถึงยุคปัจจุบัน
- Soap Opera เป็นศัพท์แสลงที่ใช้เรียกรายการวิทยุกระจายเสียงหรือรายการโทรทัศน์ประเภท การแสดงเป็นชุด ๆ ต่อกัน ออกอากาศเป็นประจำตลอดสัปดาห์ ใช้เวลาในการออกอากาศประมาณ 15-20 นาที มักเป็นรายการซ้ำซาก น่าเบื่อ หรือพวกละครวิทยุ
Soap Opera พัฒนาขึ้นครั้งแรกในรายการวิทยุช่วงทศวรรษ 1920 ที่ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา และช่วงทศวรรษ 1940 ก็เริ่มแพร่หลายเข้าไปในรายการโทรทัศน์ มักออกอากาศในเวลากลางวัน สาเหตุที่เรียกรายการประเภทนี้ว่า Soap Opera หรือละครสบู่ก็เพราะแต่เดิมผู้อุปถัมป์รายการประเภทนี้มักเป็นบริษัทผู้ผลิตผงซักฟอกและสินค้าที่เกี่ยวกับการทำความสะอาดซึ่งมีกลุ่มเป้าหมายเป็นแม่บ้านที่มักดู Soap Opera ในเวลากลางวันนั่นเอง จึงใช้คำนี้เรียกรายการดังกล่าวมาโดยตลอด
