กระจกเคลือบผิว หรือ กระจกสะท้อนแสง กับคุณสมบัติที่น่ารู้ก่อนจะนำเอาไปใช้งาน

เป็นการนำกระจก Clear Float Glass ไปปรับปรุงผิวด้วยการเคลือบออกไซด์
แบ่งออกเป็น 2 ชนิด คือ
กระจกสะท้อนรังสีอาทิตย์( Solar Reflective Glass)
1.1กระจกที่มีสภาพแผ่รังสีต่ำ ( Low-E Glass)
1.2กระจกสะท้อนรังสีจากดวงอาทิตย์ (Solar Reflective Glass)

กระจกแผ่รังสีต่ำ (Low-E Glass)
คล้ายกับ Solar Reflective Glass โลหะที่ใช้เคลือบจะมีโลหะเงินบริสุทธิ์ช่วยให้สามารถถ่ายเทความร้อนได้ดี ลดปัญหาเรื่องกระจกแตกร้าวได้ดีกว่า Solar Reflective Glass แต่ Low-E ตัดแสงได้น้อยกว่า

Low-E แบ่งเป็นสองประเภท
คือ Softcoat Low-E หรือที่เรียกอีกอย่างว่า Offline coating
