2. เครนหอสูง (Tower Crane)
เป็นเครนที่นิยมใช้ในการก่อสร้างเนื่องจากความสูงของตัวเครนและการใช้ยกสิ่งของที่มีน้ำหนักได้มากสามารถทุ่นแรงงานได้จำนวนมากแต่เครนชนิดนี้ต้องคำนึงถึงความปลอดภัยมากเนื่องจากหากเกิดอุบัติเหตุจะเป็นอันตรายอย่างมาก
