ปัจจุบันระบบบำบัดน้ำในสระที่นิยมใช้มีอยู่ 3 ระบบ คือ
ระบบคลอรีน ซึ่งเป็นระบบฆ่าเชื้อโรคที่มีคาราถูก และนิยมใช้กันมากที่สุด อยู่ในรูปของเหลว เม็ด และผงคลอรีน วิธีใช้คือค่อยๆละลายลงในสระว่ายน้ำ แต่จะสามารถฆ่าเชื้อโรคได้ เมื่อค่า pH ในน้ำอยู่ระหว่าง 7.2 – 7.8 หากค่า pH สูงหรือน้ำในสระมีค่าความเป็นด่างมากก็จะต้องเติมกรดลงไปก่อน และถ้าน้ำในสระมีค่า pH ต่ำหรือมีค่าความเป็นกรดสูง ก็จะต้องเติมสารที่เป็นด่างจำพวก Buffer หรือ Soda ash เพื่อปรับค่า pH ในน้ำก่อน ซึ่งสารคลอรีนนั้นอาจมีผลทำให้เกิดการระคายเคืองกับผิวหนังได้ ดังนั้นการระลายคลอรีนจึงควรทำในช่วงเย็นหลังจากที่ใช้สระเสร็จแล้ว และจะต้องเปิดเครื่องกรองทิ้งอย่างน้อย 3-4 ชั่วโมงด้วย
ระบบน้ำเกลือ เป็นระบบที่ฆ่าเชื้อโรคด้วยเกลือ เป็นระบบที่ไม่เป็นอันตรายต่อสุภาพ อีกทั้งยังช่วยเพิ่มความชุ่มชื่นให้กับผิวหนังได้ด้วย แต่มีราคาติดตั้งค่อนข้างสูง และมีความเป็นด่างทำให้น้ำในสระมีรสกร่อยเล็กน้อย
ระบบโอโซน เป็นระบบที่ฆ่าเชื้อโรคในน้ำ ด้วยการผลิตก๊าซโอโซนจากเครื่องอัดอากาศมาบำบัดน้ำในสระโดยตรง เป็นระบบที่มีประสิทธิภาพมาก เพราะไม่มีสารตกค้างในน้ำ แต่ระบบนี้จะมีระยะเวลาในการฆ่าเชื้อโรคที่สั้นกว่าระบบอื่น และมีราคาค่าติดตั้งที่แพง

Ozone system is a system that kills germs in water. By producing ozone gas from the air compressor directly to treat the water in the pool. It's a very efficient system. because there is no residue in the water But this system will have a shorter disinfection time than other systems. and has a high installation cost
