พิธีทำบุญเลี้ยงพระ
ในการทำบุญเลี้ยงพระผู้ที่เป็นเจ้าภาพ หรือผู้จัดงานพึงปฏิบัติดังต่อไปนี้
1. อาราธนาพระสงฆ์มาเจริญพระพุทธมนต์
2. เตรียมสถานที่และอุปกรณ์ ตั้งพระพุทธรูปพร้อมเครื่องบูชา ตกแต่งสถานที่บริเวณพิธี ปูลาดอาสนะสำหรับพระสงฆ์ (บางแห่งจะมีการวางด้ายสายสิญจน์)
3. เตรียมเครื่องรับรองพระสงฆ์ตามความเหมาะสม เช่น น้ำดื่ม หรืออื่น ๆ เช่น เจ้าภาพบางคนต้องการให้พระสงฆ์ทำน้ำมนต์ ก็จะต้องตั้งภาชนะสำหรับทำน้ำมนต์
4. เมื่อพระสงฆ์มาพร้อมแล้ว เจ้าภาพนิมนต์พระสงฆ์นั่งยังอาสนะที่จัดไว้ และประเคนเครื่องดื่มรับรอง

สำหรับพิธีทำบุญเลี้ยงพระในงานอวมงคล เช่น ทำบุญหน้าศพ หรือทะบุญอัฐิ จะมีขั้นตอนส่วนใหญ่เหมือนกับงานทำบุญมงคล แต่มีข้อแตดต่างกันบางประการ ดังนี้

1. การอาราธนาพระสงฆ์ใช้คำว่า "ขออาราธนาศีลสวดพระพุทธมนต์"
