2. quite a few = many จำนวนมาก เช่น

- คนงานจำนวนมากขาดงานเมื่อวาน จริงๆ แล้ว มากกว่าครึ่งด้วยซ้ำที่ไม่มา

3. back and forth = in a backward and forward motion เดินหน้าและถอยหลัง แกว่งไปแกว่งมา เช่น
- The restless tiger kept pacing back and forth along the front of its cage.
-เสือที่ดูกระวนการะวายยังคงเดินเข้าเดินออกตรงหน้ากรงของมัน

4. to cut down on หรือ to cut back on = to reduce, lessen ลดลง น้อยลง เช่น
- In order to lose weight, they have to cut down on their intake of carbohydrate.
- เพื่อที่จะลดน้ำหนัก พวกเขาต้องลดการบริโภคแป้งกันหน่อยล่ะ
