         บทเรียนย่อยที่ 1

                      -     run into (v.):                 to hit someone or something with a car or other vehicles (ชน)

                      -     afraid (adj.):               frightened because you think that you may get hurt or that something bad may happen (เกรง, กลัว) (จะวางคำบุพบท of ไว้หลังคำนี้ เช่น afraid of dogs, afraid of heights, etc.)

             บทเรียนย่อยที่ 2

                      -     ground (v.):                 to stop a child going out with their friends as a punishment for behaving badly

                                                                  (กัก (เด็ก) ไว้ในบ้าน ฯลฯ ไม่ให้ออกไปเที่ยวกับเพื่อน เพื่อเป็นการทำโทษ)

                      -     Gee (interj):                used to show that you are surprised or annoyed
(คำอุทานแสดงการประหลาดใจหรือหงุดหงิด)

                      -     genius (n.):                 someone who has an unusual level of intelligence (อัจฉริยบุคคล)

                      -     disappointed (adj.): sad because something you hope for did not happen or because someone or something was not good as you expected (ผิดหวัง)

                      -     cute (adj.):                 very pretty or attractive (น่ารัก)

                   -     intelligent (adj.):        having or showing understanding, able to learn and know; quick at learning (ฉลาด)

                 -     marine (adj.):             relating with the sea and the creatures that live there (เกี่ยวกับทะเล)

                      -     appearance (n.):       the way someone or something looks to other people

                      -     brain (n.):                    the organ inside your head that controls how you think, feel, and move (สมอง)

                      -     aquarium (n.):            a clear glass or plastic container for fish and other water animals; a building where people go to look at fish and other water animals

                      -     obstacle (n.):              something that stands in the way or stops progress (สิ่งกีดขวาง)

                      -     creature (n.):              any living person or animal (สัตว์โลก)

                      -     squirt (v.):                    force out (liquid) through a narrow opening (พุ่งออกมาเป็นสาย)

                      -     prey (n.):                      an animal that is hunted and eaten by another animal (เหยื่อ)
